Dr. Usha Rajagopal

The Growth of Dr. Usha Rajagopal and Her Practice
Dr. Usha Rajagopal is a plastic surgeon from San Francisco with more than 20 years of experience. She currently works at the Plastic Surgery and Laser Center on Post Street where hundreds of patients go to get their dermatology, laser, or skin treatments every year. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology like the Vectra 3D Imaging machine, she assures that procedures like augmentations are delivered as efficiently as can be. Also, Dr. Rajagopal employs things like Cool-Sculpting for fat-reducing procedures and photo-facial lasers for skin rejuvenation. Combining all of the advanced methods of treatment with an outstanding customer service of her all-female staff has made this office one of the most visited in the area.

Beauty as One Sees It Is an Easily-Attainable Feat

Before growing her practice to such a high level, Dr. Rajagopal obtained the necessary education and certification to practice medicine. She also worked with some of the most notable professionals in the spheres of plastic surgery prior to deciding to run her own patient-care facility. One thing that has remained consisted throughout all of those endeavors is her original belief that beauty is not an absolute concept. Meaning, one does not have to settle for what nature has provided them with. On the contrary, now is the best time to undergo cosmetical maneuvers as procedures have never been more advanced. Thus, women who always disliked the shape of their breasts or those who want to get rid of the excess fat tissue in certain areas can do so effortlessly. Courtesy of the never-ending research, doctors can now provide smooth surgical interventions that will fix one’s area of concern without leaving any noticeable scars.

Getting Started

The fact that becoming a doctor is rather difficult is not a secret. After all, most people know about the decade-long education that is needed just to gain an entry-level position in one’s specialty. For Dr. Usha Rajagopal, however, such thoughts never sounded intimidating nor off-putting. She welcomed the adversity that came alongside her countless college courses and hands-on examinations. Why? Because she loved the thought of her future career more than she feared failure. Being able to treat people one day kept her going from the moment that she was first introduced to human anatomy in high school. Subsequently, all of her focus was directed to becoming one of the most reliable plastic surgeons that the nation has ever seen.

Excelling at Math and Natural Science

As many other professionals in this field, Dr. Rajagopal excelled at every natural science. At 15, she was able to understand college-level chemical reactions and some of the most detailed laws in physics. Of course, her interests and understanding of the human body always topped other subjects that were mandatory. Nevertheless, the fact that she was able to excel in such a wide range of topics made her studies that much easier since electives were never a problem. Additionally, she discovered that she is very talented with numbers and mathematical theories while still in high school. Since her career drove her away from numbers, however, she simply took advantage of previously-attained knowledge in statistics to guide herself through some of her college studies.

A Practice Grows With Clients, Not Doctors

Even after working with countless medical experts and being an established specialist herself, Dr. Rajagopal contributes all of her success to her patients. According to her, one’s practice will not grow just because they hire more doctors. It will only grow as new patients get satisfied with the service provided and the demand increases. So, theoretically, a single satisfied customer is much more useful than every certification that a new doctor may bring to the office. It is, as Dr. Rajagopal puts it, a client-serving industry and the only technical difference between doctors and accountants, per se, is that doctors wear lab coats.

A Research-Driven Professional

Like a lot of her peers, Dr. Rajagopal is a firm believer that research is the main driver of medical innovation. Although she rarely does projects of this nature herself, she is up-to-date on the countless trends taking place in cosmetic medicine. Her office currently uses tools like VBeam and Smart Lipo which are rarely seen in smaller offices around the country. Regardless, she is not afraid to invest in the future of medicine by providing her patients with some of the most advanced machines that have been developed so far. Over the next few years, she plans to expand her practice by doing additional marketing campaigns all over the United States. For now, she focuses on people who are native to the San Francisco area but, as her practice hires more doctors, she will welcome individuals from across the nation. Ultimately, one might even see her run multiple offices!
